This car seat works weel for us – we used bought it as soon as our daughter turned one and use it forward facing. It was easy to install and seems very comfy without making our daughter too hot. The 3 step recline is nice but in our smaller car we have to actually take the carseat out and then recline and reinstall it. I’m not sure that would be true for a larger vehicle. The cupholder is pretty flimsy and the seat cover doesn’t cover the strap holes very well which allows lots of snacks to find there way in. Overall it is a great carseat though – no comfort or safety complaints.

I am reviewing this car seat based on its use in my Audi Q7(small SUV). I had two of these seats professionally installed for free by our local family resource center(highly suggested). One is rear-facing for my 3 month old and the other is forward-facing for my 2 year old. PROS: The seat seems comfortable, easy to clean, is nice looking and was affordable for a seat that can be used up to 50 lbs. The harness is easy to tighten with a turn of either one of the side knobs, but not as easy to loosen(though still not difficult). CONS: I am having difficulty accessing the harness tightening knobs located on each side of the rear-facing car seat because of how closely wedged they are to the back seat of my SUV. This may be because the seats are slightly bucket style. This is obviously not a problem with the forward-facing seat. I am also having a hard time pressing the buttons on the chest clip as well as the crotch clip. Hopefully this will improve with frequent use over time. I also wish the seat reclined just a little more for my toddler, but I am sure this varies based on how reclined and deep the back seat of your vehicle is. Initially, I was worried I would lose any space in my center seat because of how wide these car seats are, but that was not the case. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. The cushions and cup holder are nice additions. However, I would add shoulder strap covers so the red harness tabs don’t irritate your little one.

We’ve really enjoyed having the Evenflo Triumph Advance LX car seat, we’ve been using it almost a month now. We really like the ability to adjust the tension on the straps so we can really get our child secure. She’s very comfortable while in the seat. She’s almost 10 months at this point and is still in the rear facing mode. Even in the most reclined setting though she sits up high and is able to see out the windows, which she loves. Not sure I’d put my newborn in the seat even with the extra padding because it does sit so upright. Also love the ability to loosen the straps to get her out too. The covering vacuums up great and the graham crackers haven’t stuck to it either. I think it will wear well.

This is the second car seat we have purchased for our one year old daughter. We bought a Marathon for my husbands car (which has the latch system) and is the car we use more often. We wanted something more economical for my car, so based on the reviews I bought this one. My car (a 1999 Toyota Camry) does not have the latch system. I was able to belt this car seat in very tightly.
You do not have to rethread the straps in this car seat to move them up and down. While this is obviously convenient, I was a little concerned about them moving around with using the car seat every day. That isn’t the case at all. They stay in place despite the fact she is put in and taken out of it at least once a day.
I highly recommend this car seat.

I really like this car seat so far. It seems very sturdy, and it’s easy to get my son in and out of it. The only thing that is frustrating is the gauge on the side that loosens and tightens the straps. Tightening them is no problem, but to release them and make them looser takes a stronger thumb pressure than I can muster up. Everything else about it I love.
