Be aware, that this is not a full car seat; but a booster seat for larger toddlers and kids. Otherwise everything about it is top-notch, as you would expect from Britax. The fabric, fit and finish are very high quality. However, the unit I received was made in China, so FYI for folks who are concerned about these things.

My daughter and I were really excited to get this booster seat. Unfortunately, when we arrived and put it in our Honda Pilot, we discovered that, when buckled, the seat belt buckle was at a dangerous position – too high up next to the seat and right in between the booster seat’s armrest and bottom part of the seat. If I hadn’t read the instructions very carefully, we wouldn’t have known that this is NOT acceptable.

It is no fault of Britax, but unfortunately we can’t use this seat in our car. It is extremely disappointing, as we have always had Britax car seats and this seat felt very sturdy and comfortable.

This was our 3rd Britax car seat but our first booster. We’ve been long time fans of Britax and the Parkway Booster with Slide Guard did not disappoint. Beyond the ease of install, it took our almost 5 year old less than a day to figure out how to fasten the seat belt and clip the Slide Guard onto the lap portion of the seat belt. The slide guard positioning has not been a source of discomfort for our daughter at all but she did transfer from a Britax with a 5 point restraint. The 2 cup holders are very nice and stow away inside the seat base when not in use. The booster seat fits fine in all 3 vehicles (05 Subaru Forrester, 08 Ford Explorer, and 09 Ford Expedition) in both outboard and center positions of bench seats for all vehicles. And finally, Britax listened and made a Pink booster for the little Princesses!

We previously had the Britax Marathon Convertible Car Seat, but had to switch to a booster seat once we had our second child. The Parkway is comfortable and my 5 yr old finds it very easy to get in/out and use the seatbelt easily. The lower belt clip is also great to help ensure a proper fit. The cup holders are ok, it seems any drinks of regular size just fall out when we drive. In an array of booster seats from $25 to several hundred dollars, I am very pleased with the Parkway Booster and would reccomend it.
