     “Works for us!” 2010-04-14
    By Zyron H. Reed (Alabama)
We are only on baby #1 and therefore our first stroller so I don’t have much to compare to but, it has worked for us. The carseat to me is extremely heavy, however, I’m barely 105 lbs myself so probably the lightest carseat would be heavy to me :) I LOVE the look. We get compliments all the time on the style. I am able to get the stroller in and out of the car and set up easily by myself. When I researched the safetly reviews it was rated number one (this was in 2009) and that was most important to me. It’s very easy to transfer baby in and out of and easy to take in and out of car. The only cons I can think of are that it’s heavy and it does not fit in the front part of a grocery cart like most carseats do. That’s not important for me because my husband and I always go grocery shopping together but if I didn’t have him to push the buggy while I push the stroller it would be extremely difficult to go grocery shopping with baby and without daddy with this carseat. Overall though I’m very happy with it - it works for us! :)

     “The best available!” 2010-04-13

I am a mother of 4, I have been through MANY strollers (including a Graco travel system–which fell apart within the first 6 months, a Combi travel system, a Maclaren, a Safety 1st compact tandem double, and a Peg Perego Pliko 3 and Primo Viaggio car seat) over the last 11 years and this is by far my favorite! My most recent stroller was the Peg Perego Pliko 3 with Primo Viaggio infant seat and I SWORE by this stroller, until I received this Chicco. I would still have my Peg, however, I was “finished” having children 4 years ago and sold all of my baby items. It’s very comparable to the Peg Perego, but half the price, if purchasing both stroller and carseat. It does everything the Peg Perego does, except offer a step on the back for older children, which I rarely used because you have to wait until the younger child is able to sit up in the stroller for the older child to stand on the back and my daughter was too big by then. The child’s and parent’s trays are great and the handle is plenty tall enough for me (5′4) and daddy (6′2).

The carseat is very easy to use, clicks right in and out of base and stroller very easily and it’s fairly light-weight (compared to the monsterous Primo Viaggio!) I love that the stroller has so many recline settings, and the memory recline is a great feature (you don’t have to adjust the seat each time you unfold it).

The stroller truly DOES fold and unfold with one hand and stands independently very easily, a must with 4 children! Even the design of the basket is impressive– As with most strollers, you cannot access the basket with the seat fully reclined without disturbing a sleeping infant, but this model is slanted slightly downward to allow you easy access to items in basket without any adjustments to seat!

Also comparable to the Peg Perego is the fabric. It’s not the cloth that you’ll find on other brands that tends to rip rather quickly. Its very sturdy and easy to clean, yet plush and comfy for baby. I love the infant pillow insert as well—excellent support for baby’s head!

The only difference is the color. (which I am actually thrilled about!) Online, it appears as a sage green and grayish brown, but it’s actually a rich chocolate brown and vibrant green, which I was searching for anyway! I paired this stroller with the JJ Cole Mode Tote diaper bag and the stroller hooks that come with the bag hang perfectly from the handle on the stroller.

Take it from someone who has been around the “stroller” block and back—THIS STROLLER ROCKS!!!

“Nice stroller and travel system!” 2010-04-01
By Grace W (CA United States)
We love this stroller and travel system- we feel like we’re driving the limo of strollers! We’ve had it for a little over 2 years now, and are now using it with our 2nd baby. I would have given it 5 stars, but there are a couple minor issues which anyone buying the system should know about:

    Pros:

-The best feature about this stroller is the adjustable handlebar. It works for both short and tall people. My hubby is 6′5″ and I’m 5′8″ and it works perfect for both of us. I’ve also let friends push it who are shorter than me, and they have had no problems either.

-The shade factor. I love the fact that I can adjust the stroller shade and the carseat shade, so that way the baby is covered COMPLETELY when she or he is sleeping. It is wonderful to not worry about sunburns on those sunny days.

-Comfy for kids- I can’t count the number of times my kids have fallen asleep in this system. The carseat is supportive with just the right amount of cushion. The stroller reclines all the way back to let kids sleep. Both my kids love to ride in this stroller.

-The shocks on this stroller rock! When going on walks, I can go up or down a curb or over large bumps, and the baby will hardly even notice.

-Love the removable tray for snacks. It is so nice to just be able to pull out the top of it and wash it off really quick

-Good storage space underneath- just right for a medium sized diaper bag plus some other stuff too. Also good small storage by handlebars for keys/ cell phone/ water bottle.

-The car seat is easy to use and adjust, and the carseat base is easy to use too.

    Cons:

-The stroller seat does not adjust to straight up– meaning its highest setting is still too reclined for an older child. So when my toddler wants to have a better look around, she has to strain against the straps to see. We have to unbuckle the straps just so that she can sit comfortably and look around

-We live in a place where it’s very hot in the summer, and I’ve noticed with my 1st baby, that she sweats A LOT in the places that come in contact with the car seat fabric. Not a huge deal and it may be just our kid, but still something to be aware of.

-Bulky.(This is usually the case with any travel system you may find) When this stroller is folded up, it takes up the majority of my Toyota corolla trunk…. Because of this fact, we mainly use it for walks around the house and are unable to take it on trips when we need to pack any luggage. However, if you have a car/vehicle with more storage, then it’s probably not an issue for you.

Overall, it’s a great system and I would recommend it to anyone!!!

     “Just about perfect” 2010-03-25
    By Sarah (Southern California)
We got this travel system because it was rated so well by Consumer Reports and also because a friend recommended it and we have not been disappointed. I have used this stroller twice a day every day for ten months and it is a serious workhorse. It has made the trip from Southern California to New York getting tossed around at airports, with no problems. My only ‘complaints’ would be it is a little on the heavy side ( but that is probably part of why it is so durable) and I don’t think the stroller part was padded enough for my little guy ( I ran out to a fabric store and got some foam to add extra padding and now it is SUPER comfy for him) Car seat is great all around. We could have gone more expensive ( way more when you see what’s out there) or cheaper, but this has been a great buy.

    By Michael Paez (Bayonne, NJ)
The travel system was a good buy. Both items were easy to install and configure. The locking stand for the car seat is a smart idea and makes getting the car seat in and out a lot easier. The carriage is a little bulky but overall its a good design and versatile use.

I cant wait to use it more and report on anything that I come across for the travel system
